Mountain piercing expansion screw
The mountain piercing expansion screw consists of a screw and an expansion tube. The tail of the screw is conical with an inner diameter larger than that of the expansion tube. When the mountain piercing expansion screw is screwed into the wall, due to the wedge-shaped slope, the expansion tube will expand in all directions and generate frictional grip force, thereby achieving a firm fixing effect.
Piercing expansion screws are widely used in fixing various light bricks and foam bricks, such as block walls, aerated blocks, hollow bricks, etc. It is particularly suitable for these wall materials, as ordinary expansion screws may not be strong enough on these materials.
When installing the mountain piercing expansion screw, the first step is to drill a hole in the wall, then insert the expansion screw into the hole and tighten it from the bolt head with a wrench or torque wrench. At this point, the expansion screw will be pressed into the hole and expand outwards to secure the installed object.
