Uses of stud bolts
Scenario for easy disassembly and replacement of accessories in large equipment
When the main body is a large equipment and accessories such as sight glasses, mechanical seal seats, and reducer racks need to be installed, stud bolts can be used.
One end of the stud bolt is screwed into the main body, and the other end is nutted after the accessories are installed. Since the accessories are often disassembled, the threads will be worn or damaged, and it is very convenient to replace them with stud bolts.
Connecting objects with large thickness
When the thickness of the connecting body is very large and the bolt length is very long, such as concrete roof trusses, roof beam suspension monorail beam suspension parts, etc. In these cases, ordinary bolts may not meet the needs, and stud bolts can better achieve the connection function.
Stud bolts are also used when connecting thick plates and where hexagonal bolts are inconvenient to connect, such as in some building structures or special mechanical connection scenarios.
Application in anti-loosening engineering
In actual work, external loads such as vibration, change, and high-temperature creep of materials will cause friction to decrease, and the positive pressure in the thread pair disappears at a certain moment, and the friction is zero, causing the threaded connection to loosen.
After repeated action, the threaded connection may loosen and fail, and stud bolts can be used in such connections that need to be prevented from loosening.
